The Opportunity to be a Writing Star

by Linda Gilden @LindaGilden

Ever wished you could have someone sitting looking over your shoulder while you write? Or maybe you have written many pages and now the creativity has dried up and you just don’t know what to do next! All writers have that experience occasionally but all don’t have the opportunity to do something about it.

But you do! Star Writers Studio was designed with you in mind. September 9-10, 2017, you have the opportunity to join a few other writers as well as professional writers and editors to focus on your project and help you take your work to the next level. The Studio will be in Forreston, Texas, at Milagro Farms. That just a little bit south of Dallas. We would love to see you there.

Led by the team of Linda Gilden, Larry Leech, and Gloria Penwell, Star Writers Studio Is designed to benefit each individual writer who attends. “I am so excited that we can help writers with their individual projects and still enjoy an atmosphere of encouragement and inspiration. This unique concept will hopefully allow us to help writers fulfill their calling in a new way and take their writing beyond their biggest dreams,” says Linda.

What makes Star Writers Studio different from other writing opportunities? Star Writers Studio is not your big writers conference offering dozens of workshops and many editors and publishers. The leaders of Star Writers Studio have over 100 years combined experience in the publishing field and want to pass that knowledge along to you. The number of attendees will be limited so that each participant can have individual attention from the staff.

Larry says, “I hope attendees like the opportunity to work on the craft in small groups or one-on-one. This format works well for beginners who are scared to move forward and veterans who want to kick their writing up a notch. With breakouts designed to specific genres, attendees will have the opportunity to work on what they feel God is calling them to write.”

Instruction will be available in many areas of writing. The popular First Page critique, Blending of fiction with nonfiction, Book Proposals, and Personality assessment and personalities are just a few of the unique workshops we hope attendees will love. An additional Thursday afternoon workshop offers specific instruction for novelists and nonfiction writers.

"Come and let us help you jump-start or advance your writing career,” says Gloria Penwell. “This will be a hands-on experience."

Whatever your area of expertise, Star Writers Studio want to help you increase your reach and the impact of your ministry. Join us for a great weekend where you will grow in your writing, find inspiration from your peers, and take another giant step with your writing.
